It all started at Puttery Dallas, where our eyes met across Jimmy’s bar… which is where Nicole spent most of her time… :) Though the spark was undeniable, the timing wasn't quite right. Life had other plans, and we parted ways with a lingering sense of "what if” (only from Nicole)… Little did we know, God had a grander design for us.

Months later, fate brought Jimmy to Charlotte for a bartender training, and that’s when our story truly began. Our first lunch together was supposed to be a casual meet-up as friends (according to Jimmy) but it swiftly turned into an adventure through multiple bars. What began as a spontaneous outing quickly turned into something profound. We both felt it—this was more than just a fleeting connection; it was special.

Despite the undeniable chemistry, we recognized that we both had personal growth to do. We tried to dive headfirst into a relationship, but the timing was still off. Nevertheless, we never completely lost touch. One night, when Nicole was worried about him, she called him repeatedly until he answered (yes I did that and I’m NOT ashamed)! That moment marked the beginning of the next chapter in our story.

A couple months later, we decided to embark on a 'test' trip to Fredericksburg. It was our way of gauging the depth of our feelings and the strength of our connection. It didn't take long for us to realize that this was something meant to last forever. The weekend getaway solidified our commitment to each other.

Not long after, Nicole made the leap and moved to Dallas. The thought of enduring a long-distance relationship was unbearable. Being together every day felt right, and our lives began to intertwine more deeply.

Our journey hasn’t been without its challenges. We've learned so much about each other—sometimes through laughter, and other times through losing an engagement ring. We've grown in faith together and shared countless card games, with Nicole often emerging victorious. Through it all, we've come to cherish each moment we've spent together.

Looking back, it is truly a God thing how many incredible people we have met along the way and how we have been able to easily incorporate all of our favorite people in our lives so seemlessly. We cannot wait to celebrate this special day with all of you who mean the absolute world to us!
